Founder

Tracey Lovett

Tracey Lovett, a Florida native born in Orlando, founded The Practice, her first legal placement firm, in August of 2001. NorthStar Legal, Inc. was opened in April of 2008. An American Bar Certified Paralegal, Tracey had over fourteen years of legal recruiting and human resource experience in the Central Florida markets.

Tracey was an alumni at Valencia Community College and served on the Advisory Board of the Paralegal Studies Program at the college. She was also an advisory board member for the Winter Park Tech Legal Secretary Program. In 2002, Tracey became a Certified Staffing Professional with Labor Employment Certification from the American Staffing Association. She was a two time recipient of the staffing industry's Pinnacle Award for outstanding sales and marketing.

Tracey founded NorthStar Legal, Inc. with the goal to "set a higher standard for the staffing industry by realizing the impact a successful job placement can have on the community." She was passionate about her work because she believed that her efforts have a direct effect on the local economy by reducing unemployment numbers, as well as improving annual salary trends in the legal industry. In July of 2008, Tracey Lovett completed her term as the President of the Orlando Breakfast Rotary Club, hosting and organizing fund raising events nearing $40,000 annually for local community projects with focus on our inner-city schools here in Orlando, Florida.

In the fall of 2010, Tracey was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer. She fought the battle bravely and with such spirit that you would not have guessed she was even the slightest bit ill. Much to our everlasting sorrow, Tracey lost her battle with cancer on November 5, 2010. She is missed every day and the life she shared with us will never be forgotten.
