1) CIVIL LITIGATION PARALEGALS & LEGAL ASSISTANTS- The Litigation practice group of our DOWNTOWN ORLANDO office has an excellent opportunity for experienced Civil Paralegals & Legal Assistants. The job responsibilities encompass performing overall paralegal, legal assistant, and practice support tasks, including Providing support to prepare for depositions, hearings, trials, mediation, and arbitration, including assistance with electronic preparation and presentation of trial exhibits and PowerPoint presentations, Administering, creating, and managing document databases Supporting document review teams Providing support for extensive electronic discovery Obtaining and organizing case materials daily Preparing, organizing, and maintaining deposition materials and summaries Working knowledge of e-filing Docketing and calendaring deadlines Other duties as assigned.

Requirements for this position: a Paralegal or Legal Studies certification is required. A minimum of 4 years of paralegal experience in civil litigation Must have trial experience Software knowledge must include the Microsoft suite of products, FileSite or other document management systems, and DTE or other time entry systems Experience with Relativity, Trial Director, Outlook, Sanction, WestLaw, LexisNexis, internet searching, and online court database systems Candidates must possess strong organizational and communication skills, both written and oral/verbal The salary for this position ranges between $65,000-$85,000/annually, along with a very competitive health and benefits package DIRECT PLACEMENT.

2) SENIOR CORPORATE/REAL ESTATE PARALEGAL - Skills:  Knowledge of laws, legal codes, and court procedures. Advanced proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, or presentation software. Excellent grammar, spelling, and correspondence composition. Knowledge of legal terminology; ability to gather, assemble, and analyze information. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. Paralegal Real Estate experience preferred. Ability to type at minimum, 75wpm. 

Qualifications: Associate’s degree, Paralegal Certification, and at least five years of legal administrative or secretarial work or an equivalent combination of relevant education, training, or experience.

Salary is commensurate with experience, $75-$95,000/annually. 3) COMMERCIAL LITIGATION LEGAL ASSISTANT - A full-service Florida Business law firm in Downtown Orlando seeks a full-time Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant. This is a busy practice, and you should have excellent written communication and proofreading skills, along with a strong background supporting multiple attorneys with business litigation practices. Bankruptcy experience would be beneficial. Duties include but are not limited to scheduling and calendaring client meetings while monitoring attorney calendars and maintaining paper and electronic files. Proofreading and formatting correspondences, memos, and other legal documents. Submitting billing, time entries, and expense reports. Preparing trial materials, exhibits, and binders. Experience required for this position is a minimum of 3+ years of Legal Assistant experience in a commercial litigation practice. 4) LITIGATION LEGAL ASSISTANT/ PARALEGAL – A Florida-based mid to large-sized Patent Law Firm in Downtown Orlando is searching for a Litigation Legal Assistant/ Paralegal with 5 to 8 years of experience in Litigation, with Trademark experience preferred. The qualified candidate will know litigation rules, the relevance of these rules as they relate to the court filings, familiarity with State & Federal Rules of Civil Procedures, an understanding of legal terminology and legal processes, the ability to produce reports, legal documents, proofread documents for accuracy and the ability to work within deadlines, independently. In addition to scheduling appointments, meetings, depositions, and other related scheduling to maintain the docket, create and manage the Firm’s client database and other responsibilities as needed. 5) LITIGATION LEGAL ASSISTANT/ PARALEGAL – A Florida-based mid to large-sized complex litigation law firm in Downtown Orlando seeks a Litigation Legal Assistant/ Paralegal to support a managing shareholder with 3 to 5 years of experience in Litigation, Intellectual Property/Trademark experience is required. The ideal candidate will be able to use an electronic case management system, be familiar with civil state and federal procedures, format and evaluate court filings—Attorney’s docket scheduling and ability to self-govern with time and deadlines. 6) MEDICAL MALPRACTICE DEFENSE PARALEGAL- A rapidly growing and fast-paced defense law firm located in the Winter Park/Maitland area is seeking a Medical Malpractice Litigation Paralegal with five or more years of Nursing Home and/or Medical Malpractice experience. Duties for this position include but are not limited to summarizing depositions, legal research, preparation of motions, discovery, and other legal documents. This position requires meeting deadlines and being highly knowledgeable in the Microsoft Office suite. The ideal candidate from either side will have 3-5+ years of Workers’ Compensation experience (Plaintiff or Defense). A candidate that is highly organized and self-motivated would thrive in this position! 15) MEDICAL MALPRACTICE PARALEGAL—We are seeking a Pre-Suit Medical Malpractice Paralegal who can handle a heavy caseload. Duties will include discovery—information on the Before/After Treaters, preparation of Notice of Intents (NOI), creation of CDs containing the required information, drafting and sending outgoing discovery, handling pre-suit mediation, coordinating unsworn statements, and more.
